ITINERARY

Day Trip – Rainbow Mountain Tour

Early in the morning we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 4:30–5:00 am. We travel by private transport through the southern valley of Cusco for approximately 3 hours until reaching the trailhead.

After breakfast we begin the hike towards Vinicunca. The trek takes about 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Along the route you will enjoy spectacular views of the Andes, local shepherd communities, and herds of alpacas and llamas.

Upon arrival at Rainbow Mountain you will have time to take photos and enjoy the incredible panoramic views of the colorful mountain and surrounding valleys.

After exploring the area, we return by the same trail and enjoy lunch before traveling back to Cusco, arriving around 5:00–6:00 pm.

Later we visit the impressive Ollantaytambo archaeological site, a monumental Inca fortress with massive stone terraces, temples, and ceremonial areas that reveal the extraordinary engineering of the Inca civilization.

After exploring the site, we return to Cusco in the afternoon.
